THE SEABOURN ENCORE CRUISE

It’s always amazing how magical it feels to experience something for the first time… the first kiss, the first trip, the first love… In this case here is all about my first cruise trip ever. Full of expectations I was looking forward to this day, which started very early. After a two-hour flight I arrived in rainy Athens, where the SEABOURN Encore docked majestically at the port. Accompanied by crew members with large umbrellas, we headed towards the entrance of the ship in the pouring rain. From that moment I fell into a kind of ecstasy which I only got out of on the last day when I drove away to the airport and saw the SEABOURN Encore disappearing in the distance.

My journey started in Athens and ended in Istanbul with stops and excursions in Patmos, Crete, Skiathos and Mykonos in Greece. Kusadasi, Bozcadaa in Turkey… My absolute highlight was Mykonos, where I always wanted to go. My expectations were not disappointed. An incredibly beautiful place and a must be for fashionistas.
The time on the SEABOURN Encore passed like a rush and I didn’t manage to enjoy all the facilities that were offered… nevertheless I had wonderful spa treatments, delicious tea times, wonderful music performances and great dinners. There were four restaurants in total and I can’t say which was my favorite as they were all good. It was very tempting that you could eat little sweets anywhere on the ship. Admittedly, it was particularly difficult for me to do without it. So it was a good thing that I was able to use the spacious and very good equipped fitness studio every day to calm my conscience.

My suite cabin was on the eighth floor, very spacious and comfortable. You sleep wonderfully and more deeply than usual in a ship because of the swell. Highly recommended. My favorite place in the cabin was the balcony, where I often observed the fantastic scenery during arrival and departure.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. Their good mood was contagious. I think I’ll come back soon. On my Instagram you will find all the stories about this trip under the highlights. xoxo Georgina Moreno
