When we talk about the Le Monumental Palace Porto, we are talking about a temple of lusts for interior design lovers. The modern Art Deco furnishing of this hotel is absolutely amazing. Opulent, excessive and a true visual and haptic highlight. All pieces of furniture were custom made by Portuguese companies for the hotel. I have to say that I have rarely found such a fine piece of furniture in hotel rooms.
But this hotel has much more to offer. It is located right in the center of the city. From there you can reach all the important places on foot in Porto. Also great restaurants are nearby. Two of them we visited a street behind the hotel and spent wonderful evenings. But also in the hotel you can dine wonderful. Personally, I could not get enough of the breakfast buffet.
After an exhausting sightseeing day in Porto, you can relax in the hotel’s own spa, have a sauna and at the pool. I really enjoyed the time at Le Monumental Palace Porto and would like to come back soon to see more of Porto. Unfortunately, two days were not enough.
