Hey loves! Today I proudly present you my Bürgenstock Hotels & Resort Travel Diary. It was my first time there. It was amazing to be back again in my beloved Switzerland. The Bürgenstock Resort is located some Kilometers away from Lucerne. You can get there by car, public services, helicopter or by boat. The nicest arrival is by boat and cable car up into the mountain. This trip takes round about 40 minutes from the Lucerne railway station.
It is a kind of complex with several Hotels where you can stay. Our Hotel, the Waldhotel, designed by the distinguished architect Matteo Thun, was a five stern one with focus on health, slow down therapy and balancing. There you can treat yourself from head to toe with the best medical care and enjoy all the facilities of a five stern luxury hotel. Our room was very spacious with a great mountain view. We could hear the typical Swiss cowbells from there. After arriving we had our resort tour and visited the other Hotels like the Bürgenstock Hotel, and the Palace Hoel. This complex is a great idea, because you have many restaurant & bars options and you can use (for a fee) other Spas and hotel faicilities too.
During our stay we visited five Restaurants. The Oak Grill, Taverne 1879, Sharq Oriental, Spices Kitchen & Terrace, The Verbena… you can visit 10 different restaurants in total. The food was delicious in every single one. My personal favorite was the Spices Kitchen because of the excellent service and the amazing view over the Vierwaldstättersee.
It offers several saunas, an in- and outdoor pool, a cold room and many treatment options. After a long bike tour through the mountains, it was the best deal of the day for us. We had a full schedule visiting many places, having meetings and creating a lot of content for you. That’s why we went to this spa only once during our entire stay. On the second day we visited the Alpinespa at the Bürgenstock Hotel, as you can see on my Instagram. For a fee you can spend the hole day there and I can warmly recommend this stylish place.
There are many activities you can do there. A shopping day at Lucerne, hiking in the mountain, relaxing at the spa, playing tennis… The Bürgenstock Resort offers for every taste and need the suitable hotel. It is mountain holiday deluxe for singles, couples or families. You should not miss the chance to have been there once in a lifetime. Stay tuned!
