Villa Mandorla

Hey loves! Sicily was love at first sight for me. Since last year when I was there for the first time during a press trip with Bentley, this island has not let me go.

All the more I’m looking forward to returning for a little longer than a week and getting a little taste of what it would be like to live there with your own house. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by the Villa Mandorla, which is hidden behind a stately gate. As this slowly opens up to the side, you immediately see the modern Villa Mandorla by The Thinking Traveller in the Bauhaus style behind it, olive trees and finally the sea.

Architectural Masterpiece

Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the house give you a feeling of freedom and the light throughout the house is absolutely gorgeous. The interior is exactly mine. Modern sophisticated with a choice of colors that fits perfectly with the environment. My favorite piece of furniture was the Minotti sofa in the living room. Villa Mandorla offers everything a stylish heart desires and plenty of space for family and friends. There is room for up to 12 people, including the guest house.

The Details…

The house is so well thought out, lovingly furnished and of high quality… whether built-in cupboards, marble kitchenette, modern bathrooms including bidet… up to fully equipped laundry room… everything is there. Outside there is a stately pool area, outdoor kitchen and even a herb garden. What I particularly liked was the absolute privacy, silence and strong WiFi… all these are very important factors for me. I slept wonderfully and was able to cook my usual food all week, exercise every day and still be on vacation.

Feeling good was a matter of course here. I love hotels but after this experience I am absolutely a fan of the idea of a luxury holiday home. The Thinking Traveller offers a wide range of luxury holiday homes in several countries. Check it out. xoxo Georgina Moreno
